Regarding humor and our current discussion; We took a buggy ride around Savannah a few years ago. The driver, giving notes about various places not on his tour, mentioned Fort Jackson, on the river south of the city. He said it had been manned by black Confederates when Sherman took it, just after they escaped across the river. I dove out to the fort the next day. The only black troops mentioned was some USCT who had been at the fort after Sherman went north! Thus little points roll down hill until they grow to large boulders! LOL Stan
