Yikes David!! The worst injury I had was a broken finger from being on the worst end playing Crack the Whip. And the sprained ankle from falling from our tree fort. Combat was not on when I was in the 'playing games' stage. We just had Japs, Nazis (but didn't use that much) and of course our favorites, Roy Rogers. I had a Dale Evans cap gun set and a costume. Santa was nice to me that year.
Navy Point was a great place to grow up back then. When the games grew tiresome there was always the bayou at the end of our street. Rope swing and all.
