Hmm, that might be a good idea. I got to thinking. Stop hiding under the table. --what if soldiers had swords that maybe had belonged to their Father or something. Personal, not military issue at that time, and they were 'adapted' or something?
Or----just maybe, in some letters, from some of the troops who were there, an answer may be found. We've just not read it yet.
