This is significant in that it is another Creole company under the command of a Confederate officer.
The home guards were also under the command of "Col. Conley/Connelly" (see statements of A.V. Caro and John Pons in pension files).
That's Lt. Col. John F. Conoley of the 4th Alabama Battalion (later 29th AL). They arrived in Pensacola about January of 1862.
Caro and Pons said the home guard companies were disbanded when Pensacola was evacuated in May of '62.
