Gail: The "Pee Dee Rangers" were Co. F. of the 10th South Carolina Inf. I reivewing my research I have listed as killed at The Battle of Franklin, Tennessee on Nov. 30, 1862:

Pvt. John T. Cox
Pvt. John H. Shaw

Both men were listed by the Surgeon in Charge of the Carnton Hospital as dying of their wounds and may be buried among the Unknown CSA Dead in the Unknown Section of the Carnton Confederate Cemetery, Franklin, Tennessee.

If your ancestor is not one of these men, I can review the listing for all South Carolina Dead there, and at Nashville, Tennessee and the surrounding area cemeteries on the line of retreat and in the published POW records. I also have a large listing of Non-Fatal Casualties and can reivew them for you also. Just let me know.

Sincerely, Tim Burgess
