Search of the following database revealed the following:
Civil War Soldiers & Sailors System
Soldiers and Sailors Data: No Record

I have cross-referenced the 9 individuals serving from Lancaster County, SC, that applied for a SC pension for their service with Company E, 22nd SC, with the Soldiers and Sailors Database. I was able to validate all of the records except for William Kelley Cook.

NPS_OWSS_Comments@nps.gov were as follows:
“It looks like his record may have been accidentally omitted from our
database during data entry. The information you give suggests that he was
in the 22 SC Infantry for the entire duration of his service -- if that's
the case his record should be on this site in the 22nd SC. If it's
possible that some of his service was in a different regiment (than the
22nd) his record might be in another regiment since the site does not
necessarily contain a record for every unit a soldier was in when there
were more than one.”

Two of the Lancaster County, SC records, that I cross-checked were for J. E. and Wilson Rowell. They were the pension application witnesses attesting to William K. Cook’s service in the 22nd. Any additional information would be appreciated.
