If he died at Chimborazo, as per tthe genealogical information posted by Fred, the probability is that, unless his body was returned to S.C., he would have been buried at Oakwood Cemetery, the closest cemetery to Chimborazo. Unfortunately, there is a very large number of men buried there who are listed as "Unknown" in that cemetery. The other big cemetery in Richmond in which Confederates were buried in alrge numbers was Hollywood. Chris Ferguson has recently published another book on Hollywood burials which has identified a nubmer of men perviously listed as unknowns, or under garbled names. He is the authority on Richmond Confederate burials.
