The information below is from the roster of a draft of A History of the 7th South Carolina Infantry: 1861-1865 partially completed by Glen Swain and being followed-up by Mac Wyckoff, recently retired from the National Park Service at Fredericksburg, VA (mac.wyckoff@gmail.com). The 7th South Carolina served in Kershaw's South Carolina Brigade from the beginning of the War until the Brigade was surrendered at Greensboro, NC to Sherman as part of Johnson's Army of Tennessee.
