Hi Terry,

I have the same info you have. However....you have refreshed my memory and sparked a new avenue to search. Your one A.J. and Eliza are not the same family as A. J. and Elizabeth. Eliza is from Ohio and Elizabeth and A. J. are from Penn. Notice how they are named Andrew Jackson, Benjamin Franklin. Wasn't there a battle on Bunker Hill?? New place to look!

Elizabeth has no stone buried in space 2, Bunker in space 3 w/stone and Benjamin in space 4 w/stone. There are other Bell's in Blocks4, 5 and 6.

I will continue to look and let you know what I find.

I also wonder if he wasn't a prisoner at Rock Island. I have stuff that JoDean sent me but every time I try to print/bring up it shuts the computers down. I'll try to get into the prison records where I found several guys from the 17th and the 23rd. With some help from the guy on the prison board I found (I think) my William Hammons/Hammond/Hammonds from the 17th TN co K/A Galvanized to 3rd U.S. Volunteers co. c.

Got to go for now.

Nancy
