Looking for information on Preston Smith of Memphis, Tennessee. Col. of 154th Tenn. promoted to Brig. Gen. in late 1862, killed at Chickamauga, first buried in Atlanta, then back to Memphis. Especially interested in his role in the Kentucky Campaign of 1862. Any information appreciated; i.e. staff, family, etc.
