Re: Preston Smith
In Response To: Preston Smith ()

I am the author of the soon to be published work, "A Dark and Bloody Ground: Sowing the Wind." This two book series is a fictional adaptation of the 1862 Kentucky Campaign in which Brig Gen. Preston Smith played a part. The second book in the series, "A Dark and Bloody Ground: Reaping the Whirlwind" involves the battle of Perryville, Kentucky in which Brig Gen. Preston Smith played a supportive role. Namely, Smith's brigade (1,727)was dispatched to nearby Harrodsburg, Kentucky to protect the massive supply train of the Army of the Mississippi.

He is my question: I am searching for the names of Brig Gen. Preston Smith's Aid-de-camps...this will add realisim to a portion of the book. Any info on this would be extremely helpful

Thanks.
