I am a direct descendant of Russell. I have searched and searched with no luck in finding out "for sure" where he came from. My father, whom passed away on Nov 9th 2009 at age 80, was born in Cades Cove. His name was Cara Thomas, son of Frankie Sparks and Abie Gregory.
Do anyone have any pictures they would share?
I Googled Russell Gregory and it /brought me to this page. I would like to keep up with posting on this thread if someone would tell me how.
