I would still very much like to receive info on Carlo Patti. I have found a little more with 21st Alabama Inf. CSR's. AG

Reynolds, Alfred, C., Pvt. Co. K.

Enlisted on October 13, 1861, at Mobile, Alabama, by Captain Stewart for the war. Company muster roll for bounty on September 24, 1862, reports him absent detached May 1, 1862, in Signal Corps by order of General Bragg. Company muster roll for November/December 1862, shows him absent detached in Signal Corps. His name appears on regimental return for June 1862, as being detached in the Signal Corps. Some data cards and paperwork in this file is not readable. There is a notice to see the personal papers of Carlo Patti. (Carlo Patti was brother to the famous opera singer Angelina Patti) Carlo Patti served in the Signal Corps at Dauphin Island at one time during the war and later became famous himself as an orchestra conductor. There are a number of pay vouchers in his file.**
