Most of my research of late has been in Virginia archives and papers and I can see that I also need to explore the archives in East Tennessee. I would welcome further information you might be able to provide.I had thought that this soldier might have served in First Manassass battle and possibly have been wounded, I think you are right about the enlistment date.
