Hi, thank you for the reply and for the data. In a letter written after the battle on July 27, 1861 Col Vaughn states, 1 killed and 5 wounded in the battle including one Capt Wm. C. Morelock of CO F wounded in the neck. In another source they stated that some of the men wounded later died from their wounds. I will need to do further research and try to locate the morning reports for July 1861 to pin down the battle wounded and killed from this unit. It seems that some of the records contradict one another. Thank you for your time and for the information. Scott
