Christy - I agree with Craig . . . there are no official records during the period in question. Rest in faith, if the State of Texas, mostly broke during the entire 19th Century, gave his widow a pension, he served honorably. I regret that if more information is desired about his service is sought, it is probably in a packet of old letters someone hasn't given up.
