Hi Jack -

I went home last weekend and the damage in the Golden Triangle area was bad. Mostly trees and telephone poles down. I wanted to go to Sabine but there a barge(!) had been lifted up out of the water by the wind and lay across the highway, blocking any traffic. I heard that the school and two buildings are all that is left of Sabine Pass. The recovery is going well, everyone had power and drinkable water within two weeks of the storm. It'll get better. I saw a satellite photo of the area where Manhasset is, and the forts are still quite visible; if you like, I can email you the picture.
