Re: Hardeman's Texas Cavalry Regiment

In the Civil War Rosters,"S" surnames, "Absolam Skipworth" is listed as having served with the TX CAV,Hardeman's Reg't, Co. B. That's all it says, no reg't # included. Which Hardeman would this be ?
Absalom lived in Lavaca Co in south Texas, at least that's where I find his children after the war; no trace of him and I think he may have died in the war. There was no pension filed on his service. I have been unable so far to find out anything about Co B in my effort to find out what happened to Absalom. Any suggestions ?
Thanks for any help.
