Re: Texas Burials in Georgia (Cont)

Bill: I am slowly in the process of going through my card files on Confederates buried in Goergia, which is by no means a complete listing. I have inventoreid only a small part of the large Confederate cemeteries at Atlanta and Marietta. Furthermore, the cemetery at Kingston, which would ahve been the resting palce for many who died during the Atlanta Campaign, has virtually no markers. If you will bear with me, I will get to those units in numerial order. Many of the markers fail to give the correct unit, particularly inleaving off the designator such as "Cavalry." I will try to post a few more men tonight. I appreciate your interest.
