Thank you Jerry Coffee, I have some of this info, but you included some I didn't have. Where did you find this information? I'm going to send for records and pension after the first of the year. I can assume now that these 2 N J Chances are the same. I also am in contact with a decendent of Joseph C Chance, and we are looking for his Civil War information. I have yet to find him listed.
