Re: W.F. Guthrie, Guttery, maybe from Parker Co TX

Hello. It is very possible that this Guthrie was born in White County, Arkansas. It is also possible that he was a
relative of my ggg grandmother Mary(Polly) Guthrie Price. How he would have been related is a mystery to me.
My Guthrie/Price crew came out of the Thickety Creek region of Spartanburg District of South Carolina arriving
in Arkansas in 1836, the year it came in as a slave state. Samuel Guthrie was a judge in White County, Arkansas
and was my gggg grandfather. I can actually tell you the name of his seven children, so it was not one of his,
but I am still wondering if it was not a relative. Prior to Samuel is another mystery to me.
There was a baby boom after they got through with all the traveling which could have included W. F. Guthrie.
I know that some of the Price/Guthrie clan did pack up and head for Texas later on.
Just a wild guess, but very possible.
