Thanks for the info. My g-grandfather was in Middleton Johnson's 1st Texas Mounted Volunteers, that later became the 14th Texas Cavalry. I read where in early Feb. 1862 they were placed in Van Dorn's Army of the West, but haven't come up with them being in Price or McCulloch's Divisions. Lynn
