United Confederate Veterans Encampments

I finally received a copy today from Texas Tech University concerning a "descriptive list" from the Robert E. Lee Camp 158, United Confederate Veterans, dated May 4, 1907 for my great-great-uncle Crockett Boone.
Uncle Crockett states that he was "adjutant of the Mason County, Texas encampment, colonel and aide-de-camp on Gen. Ross' staff, and captain of the state encampment at Rockwall County, Texas."
I believe I mis-read the information, and mistakenly thought Crockett Boone was associated with certain UCV camps in Mason and Rockwall counties.
As I re-read the information, it appears that he was involved in organizing encampments in Mason and Rockwall counties, perhaps because he was a former member of Gen. Ross' staff. There should be information or a newspaper article about the state-wide encampment in Rockwall County prior to 1907. Has anyone ever seen any information about this particular reunion? And what about those titles of "adjutant" and "colonel" and "captain" of certain encampments? I have been surprised at how little information is available concerning Sul Ross' terms as commanding general of the Texas Division, U.C.V. There should be a list somewhere of members of his U.C.V. staff while he was the top officer. Any information will be appreciated.
