Re: Manuscript 3356; Bourland Regt. Wells' Battn

It's here!! "A List of Soldiers Heretofore Temporarily Detailed as Conscripts to the Service of Major S. Hart, Qr. Mr. C.S.A. for whose permanent details--they having now been assigned to Companies--application is now made by Major S. Hart. It includes 24 names, with age, height, color of eyes and hair, complexion, residence, company, regiment or command, with 12 names from Bourland's Regiment, 1 unattached, 1 Ford's Command, 9 with Good's Battalion, and 1 name which seems to have been added at the end or it fell through the cracks. It's out of the Quartermaster's Office in San Antonio, June 22, 1864.

I think you still have my email address--if not, let me know here and I'll send it on to you. I need to know where to snail mail this. There was no charge from the National Archives.

:-) You got better news than I did!!
