Need help on a relative, A D (Albert) Hines, Bugler, Co. D., Brown's Reg't, Texas Cavalry. Also served in Rugeley's Company at Matagorda, Texas. The CSA kept the yankees out of Matagorda Bay, using cotton bales on barges as armor. He died there, and is buried in the cemetery in Matagorda. I would like more information on this Campaign, if possible. He has been all but forgotten by the family, trying to rectify that.
