Re: Ben Bickerstaff 11th Texas Cavalry

Mike W. Thompson,
.
I have this Benjamin F. Bickerstaff, his brother, James Black Bickerstaff, and his father, Seborn Bickerstff, in a July 1861 Titus County militia. These three appear in both the 1850 and 1860 Titus County census. I saw a hint that Benjamin was married and while I was searching for such on the Internet, I saw the following:
.
" ... holdouts were the most dangerous of the ruffians and that they formed an unholy triumvirate: Cullen Montgomery Baker, Benjamin F. Bickerstaff, and Bob Lee. ..."
.
Notice Bob Lee, of Lee-Peacock Feud infamy. This "C.M. Baker" is featured in the HANDBOOK OF TEXAS.
