The following is listed on my great, great uncles grave marker:

"William Joseph Gilmore Pvt 19 Brig Texas Militia Confederate States Army May 25 1821-Dec 29 1870"

Have not been able to find a "19 Brig Texas Milita". I've looked at 19 Texas Calvary and 19 Texas Infintry, but have not found this person. A kind person directed me to this website, and also mentioned "Borland's Brigade" (not sure about the spelling).

Any help is greatly appreciated. No bit of info is considered too small to consider.
