Line of Battle is an excellent read for the Atlanta Campaign. I learned more detail than in the previous 8 years of studying the Ross Brigade. It should be required reading for A&M students. Some minor errors at the start, but none in the later chapters. Errors probably occurred trying to shorten the book from 700 to 400 pages. Kirk does an excellent job. Included is a detailed roster of the 4 regiments.
