The horse cavalry unit of the Corps is called Parson's Mounted Cavalry. The university honor guard is The Ross Volunteers. If anyone ever has the opportunity to view a Corps march I advise dont miss it. Includes cavalry and a battery of horse drawn French 75s with caissons. Two thousand of the best drilled unit known and a band that will make you want to storm hell itself. Some of its favorite marching songs are,"The Bonnie Blue Flag,When Johnny Comes Marching Home and The Ballad of the Green Berets."
