linda, thanx 4 the reply. and no i still cant find any info on his outfit in the war. a women i've been in contact with from findagrave.com said she thinks he fought in a battld in arkansas and was captured and spent time in a pow camp. he died at 53, she said that could be the reason 4 his short life? i'm still looking, but it has not been easy finding any info. any more info would be great. hope 2 hear from u again. kent
