Ok I'm not very smart but can you join if his sons served in the CSA army. I checked the Augusta Co civil war database and his sons are George Golladay age 29 enlisted as a private 4-14-62 at Rudes Hill in the 2nd Va. Infantry Co K. Shows him wounded at Payne's Farm and Captured at Monocacy Md . Exchanged Pointlookout Prison 10-30-64. Washington Swope Golladay enlisted as a private age 18 8-3-61 in Staunton Va. in the 5th Va Infantry co D, Transferred to the 18th Va. Cavalry Co G 1-1-63.
