Palmer, recorded present at the Jul/Aug, 1862 muster, enlisted August 8, 1862 at Richmond, recorded present at the Sep/Oct, 1862 muster, not liable to Conscript Act, that being under age, present at the Jan/Feb, 1863 muster, transferred from Gen. Hosp. No, 9 to Chimborazo Division #`1, April 10, 1863, Pleuritis, transferred April 14 to private quarters Petersburg, Va., recorded on June 8, 1864 as been admitted Receiving and Wayside Hospital of General Hospital No. 9, Richmond, Va. June 7, wounded, gunshot wound through right forearm June 8, 1864, received 60 day furlough to home in Clarksville, Va. June 22, [admitted Receiving and Wayside Hospital of General Hospital No. 9, Richmond, Va., Diarhoea Chronic June 9, 1864, declared June 15 as unfit for duty, furloughed for 60 days, June 22], receipted for an issue of clothing, 3rd Quarter, 1864, no further records
