Could your resources find anything about William Henry Anthony (Dec 17, 1826 – Mar 25, 1861). His headstone states "Pvt William Henry Anthony Co B, 2 VA Batt, CSA 1828, 1861". I don't know any details of his Civil War service. I'm curious to the manner of his death, I would assume war related, but not sure.
Also, Pvt Robert Irvine Anthony (1842-1864). Robert was a student at VMI. He was mortally wounded 9-13-64, died the next day at York Hospital, Winchester VA. Alleghany Artillery Battery
