Harrison's Landing

My great-great granddad served in the 15th W.Va. Inf.during the Civil War.In Dec.1864 he was transferred from the Shanandoah Valley to near Richmond. He kept a small pocket diary in which it is now in my possession.I have researched it extensively and have been to most places he wrote about. The place now in question is Harrison's Landing he mentioned while being transferred by boat going up the James River. The following is the excerpts from the diary:Dec.23,1864-Boat started up the James River passing by Jamestown and on up the river to City Point ankering down for the night.Dec.24-We started up the river some distance to Harrison's Landing. We Army of the James got off of boat marching 4 miles and went into camp neer Dutch Gap. Where would the location of Harrison's landing be today?
Thank you,
Rodger Lemley
