Thanks for your postings. There was a John P. Lansford in the 9th Alabama Infantry. The similarity of the names, wounding in the same battle and possibly, being in the same hospital makes this search really confusing. I guess I'm going to need to look at that microfilm that has the listing of the patients and their daily treatment/medications that you listed earlier.
