2nd Lt. John B. Stone is listed in Co I. No other Stones in CO I but there are four of them in Co H (J.T., James, Wiley and William). I'll look at the other Co's tonight if someone else on the board doesn't do it for you sooner. I feel sure that Lt. Stone was probably discharged for some reason (was he wounded or listed as sick in VA)? Before he was elected as an officer in the 62nd (Lockhart's Battalion when it was formed in Jan of 64)
By the way W.H Stone died of disease while a POW on Ship Island and was buried there. James M Stone was buried in Chalmett Cemetery near New Orleans (also while POW). The CS dead buried there where latter moved to Greenwood Cem, New Orleans
