Not able to say much about the pension for this man as all I have is an extract from a quarterly. No mention of the witnesses for the pension application.

I have wondered about the extent of fraud for these pensions and have also wondered if many soldiers, who truly served and who were entitled to a pension, were denied same.

Have one kinsman who compiled tons of paperwork and still was denied a pension. Did he serve? Was he entitled? I don't know. He surely said he served.
