You would need to request copies of this man's service record, which would include any POW information from Island Ten and elsewhere. These are called compiled service records as they include information form many different sources.

The Morton Confederates were first part of the 5th Confederate Infantry Regiment and later the 42nd Tennessee Infantry Regiment. That means there are two parts to this man's service record, and you would need to request both.
