Of course, without having all the facts it is not fair for us to judge, but both of these Colonels were absent from their commands in the darkest hour. (This is even worse when one considers that the 62nd and 63rd Ala Regiments were composed mainly of boys, 18 years old and younger.) I would sure like to learn why they were not there.
