Thanks for the work and time. I did find some more evidence supporting your Roddy's Regt argument.
John W. Pope and Taylor W. Alldredge wrote affidavit's in his initial app.. John W. Pope has 3 cards in his file for Roddy'd Regt, he was Captured in Carroll Co. Tn. July 1863 and taken to Gratiot St. Prison in St. Louis, in Aug 1863 and released. Can't find records for TW Alldredge in a quick search.
What bothers me, is his Aug., 1917 re-app. I said in earlier post 1915, he is adamant about Co B 1st Cav. In 1920 his wife throws out Curry and Wilhite as his Col. and Cpt. When asked was he ever deleted from pension rolls, she replied No. How do you forget no money for 3 years, from 1914-1917? She was over 70, so guess it was senility.
