Confederates at Tupelo under command of S D Lee, but nearly all belonged to Forrest's cavalry. All of Ferguson's Brigade went to Georgia with Red Jackson's Cavalry division in May 1864.

The 13th Alabama PR Battn was involved in a skirmish at King's Creek near Tupelo MS, Here's George Martin's profile of that action.

No record of anyone named Stallings belonging to either the 13th AL PR Battn or the 56th Alabama. Records of both units are fairly complete, 1862 through late 1863.
