My husbands' great, great grandfather was in the civil war. He was a nurse. His unit was the 36th Alabama Infantry Regiment Company G. He died from smallpox and is buried in Mobile, Alabama. I am trying to find out which civil war hospital in Mobile he died in. Does anyone know just how to go about searching for this information?
