There is a single card filed with the miscellaneous records showing that Leroy Brit (sic) Co. A, 5th Ala. Regt. was admitted to the General Hospital at Orange Court House, VA, with measles on July 22, 1861, and was subsequently discharged from service (not returned to duty) on Sep. 27, 1861.
