Greetings! My great-great grandfather was Colonel James Pleasant King who fought with the Van Buren Frontier Guards at Wilson Creek/Oak Hill and then enlisted in the 35th Arkansas and fought at Prairie Grove and Helena. The regimental flag indicates the 35th/22nd Arkansas also fought at Elkhorn/Pea Ridge and Jenkins Creek but I have not found an order of battle or other information that verifies that detail . I would be very grateful to anyone who could give me any more information on the 35th/22nd Arkansas and Colonel James Pleasant King. I have been to Prairie Grove with my dad and to Wilson Creek/Oak Hill on my own and hope to visit Helena. Thanks for any help. Rob King Middleton, Idaho
