Bill,Thanks for the information. We have a transcript of a letter that he wrote his wife after one of the battles but I don't know which one. The regimental flag at the museum I printed from the website. It has Elk Horn as one of the battles on the flag but I have not found any verification that the 35th Arkansas was at Elkhorn/Pea Ridge. Any ideas about how to verify that. I have not found it in any order of battle listing. Thanks, Rob King
