Ladies Signed The Amnesty Oath?

I note that four ladies were included on a list of over 100 citizens who signed the Amnesty Oath in Desha County. Can anyone shed light on why non-combatant females would be required to take the oath?

This list is on the Desha County Genealogy site at:

Eliza B. Mayson, born in Kentucky, age 69, 5 feet tall, gray hair, blue eyes, occupation shows as “Lady,” signed E.B. Mayson.

Martha Tucker, born in Missouri, 35 years old, 5 feet tall, black hair and black eyes, a lady.
