Hiram C. Marsh served in a different 10th Arkansas Regiment. He enlisted in Co. A, 10th (Newton's) Arkansas State Troops Cavalry, at Arkadelphia, Arkansas, on October 8, 1863; age 43. There isn't a whole lot of documentation about this outfit. Ken Byrd is the expert on Newton's regiment, so hopefully he'll jump in and give you some details.
