It might be interesting to make the simular comparison of Missouri enlistments. Many of the Missouri units were filled out with Arkansas Men such in Mitchell's 8th Missouri Infantry and Clark's 9th Missouri Infantry. Missouri Units in Arkansas did not have a recruiting base of Missourians that they could draw upon for fresh faces to fill their ranks. I would wonder if it wouldn't be something of a wash as far as Missouri men in arkansas units go.

As Bryan said that 90% of the enlistments of Arkansas Companies were recruited locally, which would seem to suggest that at least 90% of those in Arkansas Regiments were Arkansasawyers.
