In read the book by Anna Bailey about Parson 12th Texas Cavalry, "Between the Enemy and Texas", she states that in the 1850's an H. L. Grinsted was engaged in running a newspaper in Jefferson, Texas. And that because of a dispute over comments made it that paper a duel between the two almost came to be except that Grinsted did not show up for the duel and the dispute was later settled by a board of Honor.
Was this the same H. L. Grinsted, colonel of the 33rd Arkansas?
