Dr. J. N. Bragg, in letters to his sweetheart Josephine Goddard, relates that Grinsted had problems with Rev. Horace Jewell. Jewell was part of Grinsted's unit. These letters may be found in the book, Letters of a Confederate Surgeon. I don't have the book or I would provide the page number and author. I believe the author is a Mrs. Gaughan and the out-of-print book was privately published. There was a copy in the Camden, AR library before the July 2011 fire, not sure if it was one of those saved from the blaze.
